Better disclosure of extra CC charge when checking out
My friend recently used your service to to collect money for an event he was organizing. Much to the surprise of many of us, our CCs were charged more than we expected. After reading the FAQs, we figured out why the extra charge was there for those of us who just used our CC. I understand the reason you do charge people extra for using a CC is that the CC companies charge you.
My suggestion would be to make it a little more obvious that a person will be charged extra for using a CC instead of a PayPal account with bank transfer. I'm sure there may have been something I missed when checking out, but I am not the only one in my group to make this mistake.
It would be a good idea to show the extra charge for people as they are checking out. This is the first my group has used this service & the extra charge just doesn't leave a good first impression of your service.

In the past, we've relied on our organizers to state the fee information, based on whether or not they are asking the payers to pay.
We've found for the most part this isn't working out so well.
In our next round of updates, we will ensure information on fees is well stated. We agree that the idea of "Fees added at the last minute" isn't what we're going for.

And it's not limited to just CC users. I used auto bank draft on Paypal. Using my CC would have resulted in an add'l 2.9%, but I was charged the .99 transaction fee. A user shouldn't have to resort to sifting through the FAQ section to find out why a fee wasn't disclosed prior to checkout. It left me feeling trapped into paying it once I was taken to the paypal site.
